Founded just over two years ago by Jack Bazalgette (Co-founder and Artistic Director) and Jack Crozier (Managing Director), through the noise has rapidly become a trailblazer in the realm of classical music events. What began as a financially sustainable, informal crowdfunded classical gig has blossomed into a cultural movement, reshaping the landscape of classical performances. through the noise’s vision is to redefine the classical music experience by delivering a unique encounter that merges classical virtuosity with the energy of local, vibrant, non-traditional spaces.

through the noise has successfully ignited a fresh and dynamic approach, featuring acclaimed international classical soloists in unconventional venues such as nightclubs and grassroots locations. They collaborate with an exciting array of award-winning artists, pushing the boundaries of how classical music is presented and experienced. Notable previous gigs include cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, pianist Pavel Kolesnikov, the South African cellist Abel Selaocoe and the violinist Roberts Balanas.

Presenting a platform that fosters cross-cultural connections and artistic discovery, through the noise showcase exceptional talent to new audiences by facilitating exclusive performances in the UK for relatively undiscovered artists hailing from various international locations. In 2023, through the noise held their first gig in collaboration with the Royal Albert Hall. As part of their upcoming 2024 season through the noise has their European debut with nine performances across two tours, and eleven debut performances in Wales, Bristol, Sheffield, Nottingham, Margate, Netherlands (Rotterdam), France (Paris), Belgium (Brussels), Frankfurt (Germany), Amsterdam, and Salford.
